Riddleworks has a new look.
Finally got a minute to have the site re-designed. This new, cleaner layout
will make it easier for us to update regularly. Don't forget to check out the
music from The Demo Vault.
Tamra Hayden's CD, A Day At the Fair has been released.
I had a blast working on this album. Not only is Tamra an amazing
singer and songwriter, but she's a great person to hang with. Killer
blues/rock vocals with introspective lyrics.
Friends, Election Day is coming. Don't forget to vote!
Wow, it's been a long time since I've updated the site. Unfortunately, my life is insanely busy these days. One of my short-term goals is to re-design this place. I have a lot of ideas and hopefully, I'll find a minute to get that done.
I'm happy to announce that as of September 2005, I joined the faculty at County College of Morris, in Randolph, NJ. I'm teaching Intro to Music Recording and Intro to Music Business. It happens that they have a music technology program there that rivals universities with much more funding. The faculty has been terrific to work with and the man behind it all is Todd Collins. Check him out. He's a monster guitar and mandolin player.
The second project that's been keeping me busy is a new venture with songwriter, Alice Leon. I've joined the staff at TheSongs4U.com. It's been a real pleasure to work with Alice and I'm looking forward to producing many more tracks with her.
Last, but certainly not least, I've been working with my buddy and partner, Rich Gantner on a new batch of Mung Brothers tunes. We're in the demo stage right now and we're looking forward to releasing our second CD. Check back to find out how we're progressing.
OK, thanks for checking in. I hope another six months doesn't go by before I update again. Cheers!
All profits from The Mung Brothers CD, "Honey, grab your coat!" will be donated to the American Red Cross to assist victims of hurricane Katrina. If you can, please donate by buying a CD. Thank you!
Dan is featured on one track for the Artists For Charity project. Guitarist/producer Steve Lang brings you smokin' guitar playing by Dan Palladino, Steve Lang, Tommy Merry, Joy Basu, Dave Martone, Michael Vick, Terry Lauderdale and Bumblefoot. Click here to hear samples.
Just added a new article, "Are You Ready To Be Yourself?". It explores the importance of developing your own unique voice in music. I hope it will get you thinking.
Just added a new guitar lesson, "Dorian Triads On Your Vertical Guitar". Good exercises for the advancing guitarist.

Well, when it rains, it pours. I've contributed guitar, bass and harmony vocal tracks to Belgian songwriter, Kurt Vereecke's forthcoming CD. "Red Light Zone" has a rockin' 80's vibe to it. Big fun was had by yours truly. Click here for more information.
More big news: I've been hired as technical editor for the book, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Home Recording" (Alpha Books), by Clayton Walnum.
