Recording Instruction: Info and Rates
The various brands of digital audio workstations (DAWs) share many similarities. They all offer digital recording, editing, effects processing and mixing functions. I happen to prefer MOTU Digital Performer - I've been using this software for many years and I've become very efficient on it. I also have a portable Pro Tools rig, because it is the professional standard in audio engineering.
No matter which DAW you use, I'll help you get the most out of it. In addition, we'll cover traditional recording concepts that apply to any system - analog or digital. You'll have the opportunity to gain real "hands on" experience in applying the concepts we'll discuss.
Rates for music production lessons:
1 hour lesson: $50

Digital recording equipment is more affordable than ever, but it's not about the gear - it's about the music, and having the knowledge to capture that music using time-tested techniques. I guarantee that you'll produce higher quality recordings after studying music production with me.
